The Trafo-Kollektiv emerged from the curatorial and organisational leadership of the former Trafostation. The desire to freely create art formats that speak a common creative language crystallised more and more. Whether through concert formats with a preceding or following conversation, the joint improvised creation of art, or the exchange at community dinners, where strangers can meet and be given impulses for conversation in the evening. For the collective, art is not a language, but a speaking-together, not an object, but always a practice. That is why our collective work is always "work in progress" and a porous organism that is open to being completed.
